How Reading Stays Private

Crostfield News delivers its articles as static HTML. You can read them without creating an account, registering a name, signing in, or maintaining a profile. The site places no cookies on your device.

It also runs no visitor analytics. No tracking pixel records activity, no advertising tag follows a visit, and no behavioural profile is built from the articles you read. The publication does not use reader behaviour to create advertising categories.

Information the site never receives

A Crostfield News page never asks you to complete a contact form, post a comment, answer a survey, upload a file, or type into a search box. Those features are not part of the site. As a result, the publication receives none of the messages, documents, responses, or queries such fields ordinarily carry.

There is deliberately no published email address. Automated outreach and unsolicited pitches overwhelm useful correspondence for a site of this size, and an unmonitored inbox would misrepresent the possibility of a response. Guest articles, contributed copy, and unsolicited drafts are not accepted. Nor does the publication receive requests to insert, modify, or delete links in its existing pieces.

Nothing can be bought from Crostfield News. The site has no checkout and never processes payment information or card details. It does not collect customer data because it has no customers or paid accounts.

The home page provides a complete list of the publication's articles. Access to that list and to the articles requires no personal details, search history, membership record, or commercial exchange.

The article list asks nothing about the person viewing it, and Crostfield News creates no logged-in reading history behind that index.
